The Division of Student Affairs at Sol Plaatje University (SPU) is designed to ensure SPU remains a transforming university, one that actively strives for social justice in all that it does. The foundational values enshrined in the Constitution – equality, dignity, and freedom – are central to the University\u2019s ethos. Leading with care is at the heart of everything we do, as we embody the spirit of UBUNTU by caring for fellow humans, all forms of life, the natural environment, and ourselves.<\/p>

SPU is entering an exciting new strategic phase for 2025 – 2029. This strategy builds on the lessons of 2020 – 2024 to guide the University\u2019s future, embedding flexibility and responsiveness to the evolving socio-economic and educational landscape. It emphasises innovation, inclusivity, and a continued commitment to community and scholarly engagement. The Division of Student Affairs is anchored by a student-centric engagement framework that supports SPU\u2019s Student Success Strategy and operationalises an intentional approach to student engagement. This framework guides the Division of Student Affairs and Services\u2019 operations, ensuring students have access to the tools and support they need to thrive.<\/p>
