research excellence, innovation, postgraduate development, and knowledge exchange. We are committed to creating an enabling environment through research support services, funding opportunities, capacity development initiatives, strategic partnerships, innovation and technology transfer, and international collaboration that advance discovery, scholarship, and societal impact.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Our research agenda is guided by seven strategic priority areas as identified in the Plan:<\/p><ul style=\"text-align: justify;\"><li>Desert and Arid Region Studies<\/li><li>Indigenous Knowledge and Heritage Studies<\/li><li>Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Skills Development<\/li><li>Health Systems and Wellness<\/li><li>Education<\/li><li>Technological Advancement and Data Studies<\/li><li>Just Energy Transition<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Through these priority areas, SPU researchers, postgraduate students, and strategic partners generate knowledge that addresses societal challenges, contributes to national development priorities, and advances global scholarship. As the University&#8217;s research profile continues to grow, increasing research collaborations, postgraduate and postdoctoral opportunities, international engagement, and researcher recognition,
