The First Year Experience at Sol Plaatje University (SPU) is designed to ensure SPU remains a transforming university, one that actively strives for social justice in all that it does. The foundational values enshrined in the Constitution – equality, dignity, and freedom – are central to the University\u2019s ethos. The First Year Experience is anchored by a student-centric engagement framework that supports SPU\u2019s Student Success Strategy and operationalises an intentional approach to student engagement.
