It is with great pleasure and genuine enthusiasm that I extend a warm welcome to you to the Faculty of Education. Our faculty comprises three dynamic and interrelated departments: Mathematics, Science and Technology Teaching; Human Sciences Teaching; and Education Studies. Each department plays a vital role in preparing future educators who are equipped to meet the diverse needs of learners in an ever-changing world.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The Faculty of Education offers a comprehensive range of qualifications designed to support your professional growth at every stage. At the undergraduate level, we offer the Bachelor of Education (BEd)<\/strong> across key teaching phases and specialisations. For graduates who wish to pursue teaching as a profession, we offer the Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)<\/strong>.<\/p>

At the postgraduate level, students may advance their studies through Bachelor of Education Honours (BEd Honours)<\/strong> programmes, Master of Education (MEd)<\/strong> degrees in various specialisations, and will offer Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Education<\/strong> programmes soon. These qualifications are designed to deepen professional knowledge, enhance research capacity, and contribute meaningfully to educational practice, innovation and policy.<\/p>

By choosing to enrol in the Faculty of Education, you are taking an important step toward becoming an agent of meaningful change. As a future teacher and leader, you will have the opportunity to shape minds, inspire growth, and positively influence the lives of countless learners. This is both a privilege and a responsibility, and we are committed to supporting you throughout this journey.<\/p>

Our faculty is made up of dedicated and highly experienced staff who are engaged in impactful on-campus (supported by innovative online) teaching. Their work is grounded in research and enriched by practical experience, enabling them to provide a balanced and relevant educational experience. Importantly, our staff are committed to recognizing and nurturing each student as an individual, understanding that each brings unique strengths, perspectives, and circumstances.<\/p>

Guided by the core values of diversity, integrity, accountability, lifelong learning, and empathy, we strive to cultivate an inclusive and supportive academic environment.
