local capacitation, through targeted professional and personal development. CDP complements the university\u2019s academic programmes by focusing on lifelong learning, continuing education, and workplace development. This strategic role is closely aligned with SPU\u2019s broader vision of community engagement, democratic practice, and social justice, fostering a life-long commitment to learning in the Northern Cape. CPD works alongside government, business and community partners to co-design and deliver short courses that reflect regional and local priorities.
