Dr Botha has confederated to the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, and the Free State Working Community.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dr Botha is honoured to be elected a member of the Academy and states that this is a major highlight in his academic career.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u201cAs an organisation that promotes the use and quality of Afrikaans, it is not only valuable to me as an Afrikaans academic to gain membership, but it is also a privilege to be part of the Academy that was founded in 1909.
