Earlier in December 2018, the National Research Foundation announced that it had awarded four grants to SPU academics.<\/p>\r\n

This was made up of one new grant which was was awarded to NAS\u2019 Dr Kamila Sekonya.<\/p>\r\n

The remaining two grants made to NAS\u2019 Dr Jeremia Sefadi and Ayanda Zungu are continuations of current grants.<\/p>\r\n

All NAS grants were made to academics in the Department of Physical Sciences.<\/p>\r\n

The last grant was made to the NRF Y2 rated researcher Dr Nhlanhla Mpofu and is another existing grant.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
