The initiative will host a \u2018Keeping Kimberley Clean\u2019 project to clean up the Oppenheimer Gardens which is an integral part of our University and the Kimberley community. \u00a0<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Staff and students are invited to join the Vice-Chancellor and Principal, Prof Andrew Crouch, SPU GCI Ambassadors, the Student Representative Council, the Division of Student Affairs and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.solplaatje.org.za\/Pages\/Home.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Sol Plaatje Municipality<\/span><\/a> Mayor, Touch &#8211; Lets-Go, Tourism monitors and Media at the clean-up project.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Venue: Oppenheimer Gardens<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Date: 23 September 2022<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Time: 13:00 \u2013 16:00<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Meeting point: Luka Jantjie house at 12:30<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The SPU GCI wishes to encourage all SPU students and staff to join this long-term intervention to eradicate litter on our campuses, living, recreational and learning spaces, to create a conducive environment for learning and recreational purposes, in promoting a healthy style of learning and living.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Green Campus Initiative, popularly known as the GCI #ILOVEMYCAMPUS INITIATIVE, will kick start Green Week from 23 &#8211; 30 September 2022.
