{"id":6404,"date":"2019-11-28T13:07:35","date_gmt":"2019-11-28T11:07:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.spu.ac.za\/?p=6404"},"modified":"2020-03-02T10:49:57","modified_gmt":"2020-03-02T08:49:57","slug":"spus-bcom-to-be-re-curriculated","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.spu.ac.za\/index.php\/spus-bcom-to-be-re-curriculated\/","title":{"rendered":"SPU&#8217;s BCom to be re-curriculated"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In line with best practice, and as part of our quality assurance processes, all qualifications at Sol Plaatje University undergo regular programme review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During 2019, the Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) qualification was evaluated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following the recommendations of this review, the University has decided to significantly redesign our BCom qualification in line with 21st-century trends in knowledge production, skills acquisition and workplace demands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pursuant to the implementation of this process, SPU will not\nbe enrolling new students into our BCom programme in 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will, however, be offering our renewed and re-curriculated\nBCom programme as from the 2021 academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students currently enrolled in the BCom programme at Sol\nPlaatje University will be unaffected by this course restructuring.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In line with best practice, and as part of our quality assurance processes, all qualifications at Sol Plaatje University undergo regular programme review.
