He was accompanied by officials from the Department of Higher Education and Training and by the COO of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nsfas.org.za\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">NSFAS<\/span><\/a>, and staff from his office.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Engagements were held with the University\u2019s Senior Management Team, and the Student Representative Council (SRC) focusing on key issues such as academic registration, student funding and accommodation.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Deputy Minister, praised the University\u2019s remarkable growth and development over the years. He commended the SRC on their fundraising efforts to assist students who faced financial challenges.
