It has been funded through the <a href=\"https:\/\/usdp.co.za\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">University Capacity Development Programme (UCDP)<\/span><\/a> and managed by <a href=\"https:\/\/usaf.ac.za\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Universities South Africa (USAf)<\/span><\/a> since mid-2018.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 16px;\">The EDHE Programme is focused on three goals, each of which is aligned with a corresponding EDHE Community of Practice, i.e.:<\/span><\/p><ol style=\"text-align: justify;\"><li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 16px;\">The development of Student Entrepreneurship, aimed at mobilising the national student and graduate resource to create successful enterprises that will ultimately lead to sustainable wealth and job creation;<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 16px;\">The development of Entrepreneurship in Academia, aimed at supporting academics and support professionals in instilling an entrepreneurial mindset within students through the offering of relevant knowledge, transfer of practical skills and the application of business principles across disciplines; and<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 16px;\">The development of entrepreneurial universities, aimed at supporting the strategic creation of university environments that are conducive to entrepreneurship and the generation of third- stream income through innovative approaches to<\/span><\/li><\/ol><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 16px;\">As part of the first goal of the development of Student Entrepreneurship, EDHE hosts an annual event in partnership with South African public universities called the Student Entrepreneurship Week (SEW).<\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 16px;\">2025 marks the eighth year of SEW and this year the event promises to be just as remarkable as it has been in the previous years.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: georgia, palatino;\">Event details:<\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino; font-size: 16px;\"><strong>What?<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-family: georgia, palatino;\">On behalf of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spu.ac.za\/index.php\/cedar\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Centre for Entrepreneurship Development And Research (CEDAR)<\/span><\/a> and The Faculty of Economics &amp; Management Sciences (EMS), we bring you the free <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spu.ac.za\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Sol Plaatje University<\/span><\/a> Student Entrepreneurship Week (SEW) 2025 Two Day Event Celebration.
