Boitumelo Diale, prof. Dipane Hlalele, dr. Tony Mpisi en dr. Kevin Teise, vorm deel van die fakulteit se Sentrum vir die Bevordering van Landelike en Inklusiewe Onderwysnavorsing se toewyding aan landelike ontwikkeling.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Die afvaardiging het by die !Xunkhwesa Gekombineerde Skool met hoofman Antonio Saboa van die !Xun-gemeenskap en hoofman John Matamu van die Khwe-gemeenskap vergader, waar hulle hartlik ontvang is deur die skoolhoof, me. Mumtaaz Newman.\u00a0 Die vergadering het gefokus op die bou van samewerkingsverhoudings met die twee gemeenskappe, die werk van die fakulteit en die identifisering van die gemeenskap se onderwysbehoeftes.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Die hoofmanne het armoede, jeugwerkloosheid, en jeugswangerskappe ge\u00efdentifiseer as dringende gemeenskapsuitdagings.\u00a0 Albei leiers het ook die transformatiewe rol van onderwys in die skep van \u2019n beter toekoms vir hul volgelinge, beklemtoon.\u00a0<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sleutelgeleenthede vir samewerking is ge\u00efdentifiseer.\u00a0 Dit sluit in Volwasse Basiese Onderwys en Opleiding, vennootskappe met die plaaslike gemeenskapskollege, ondersteuning met derdetaalonderrig aan onderwysers, sowel as samewerking met die Noord-Kaapse Department van Onderwys.\u00a0 Vroe\u00ebkinderontwikkeling- en opvoeding (VKO) is ge\u00efdentifiseer as topprioriteit, veral die opleiding van praktisyns vir die nuutgeboude VKO-sentrum wat tans in onbruik staan as gevolg van \u2019n gebrek aan vaardighede onder die praktisyns.\u00a0<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Die fakulteit sal nou \u2019n aksieplan ontwikkel in konsultasie met die hoofmanne, die plaaslike gemeenskappe, en ander aandeelhouers.\u00a0 Die doel hiervan is om met uitvoerbare ingrypings vorendag te kom wat nie net toegang tot onderwys sal gee nie, maar ook die gemeenskap sal ophef.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Die besoek is afgesluit met \u2018n\u00a0 besoek aan die nuutgeboude VKO-sentrum en die onderneming om die gemeenskap weer te besoek.\u00a0 Die afvaardiging het hul waardering uitgespreek teenoor albei hoofmanne wat die vergadering bygewoon het, hul persoonlike assistente vir die vertaling van die gesprekke in !Xuntali en Khwedam asook teenoor me.
