First Call for Papers and Workshops

The African Languages Association of Southern Africa (ALASA), in collaboration with the Pan South African Language Board (PanSALB), invites academics, researchers, postgraduate students, policymakers and language practitioners to submit abstracts for papers and workshops for the 28th International ALASA Conference.

Abstracts for papers and workshops should be submitted to:

Abstract Requirements

• Paper abstracts must be 150–200 words.
• Workshop proposals must be 250–400 words.
• Submissions must include:
  • Full title of the paper/workshop
  • Full name(s) and surname(s) of author(s)
  • Institutional affiliation
  • Email address
  • Name of corresponding author, where there are multiple authors
  • Telephone/cell/mobile or office number
  • Fax number
  • Postal address and postal code
