Graduation Information
The Graduation Ceremony for the Faculty of Education is set to take place on Friday, 25 April 2025 at 14:00. All graduands and guests to be seated by 13h30 for commencement of the ceremony at 14h00. Graduands and guests who arrive late will not be allowed to enter the venue.
The following qualifications will be conferred in the Faculty of Education:
Bachelor of Education in Intermediate Phase Teaching
Bachelor of Education in Senior Phase and Further Education and Training Teaching
Postgraduate Certificate in Education in Senior Phase and Further Education and Training Teaching
Advanced Diploma in School Leadership & Management
Bachelor of Education Honours in Curriculum Studies
Postgraduate Diploma in Mathematics Education
Master of Education
The Graduation Ceremony for the Faculty of Humanities is set to take place on Saturday, 26 April 2025 at 09:00. All graduands and guests to be seated by 09:00 for commencement of the ceremony at 09:30. Graduands and guests who arrive late will not be allowed to enter the venue.

Tickets
Graduands will receive 4 tickets (1 ticket for the graduand and 3 guest tickets). Tickets can be collected from 7 April 2025 to 24 April 2025 from 09:00 - 16:00.
Please note, if you will not be attending your graduation ceremony your tickets may not be sold or transferred to another graduand or guest. Instances where graduands have acquired additional tickets or been given tickets by another graduand may find access to the ceremony for these additional tickets denied.

Graduation Attire
The University's approved service provider for the Academic Attire is Dippenaar & Reinecke Academic Wear. Click here for more information on how to place an order.
Graduation Photography
The University's approved service provider for graduation is Gordon Harris Photographic, and will be the only official photographer allowed to take photos while graduands walk the stage. Graduands are requested to contact them directly to place an order. Click below to download the booking forms:
Graduating with Outstanding Fees
Graduates with fees outstanding will be allowed to walk the stage but will not be issued with a qualification certificate until the required fees have been settled.
All graduands will receive their academic transcript on the day of graduation.
How will I obtain my certificate?
Certificates will be available for collection on the day of your graduation ceremony for those that are permitted and able to attend the in-person ceremony.
If a graduate cannot attend the ceremony or collect their certificate on the day of their graduation ceremony, they must arrange for collection by contacting [email protected]
Please note, certificates are only issued to graduates who have settled all their University fees. Once all fees have been settled you may contact [email protected] to obtain your certificate.
