The Centre for Teaching, Learning, and Programme Development (CTLPD) supports the projects of the university in the following areas: academic support for students, academic literacy and lifelong learning, innovative digital pedagogy, programme and curriculum design, teaching and learning, quality assurance, academic career path development, and learning analytics Moodle, which is the Learning Management System (LMS) used at Sol Plaatje University.

Furthermore, Microsoft Teams has been incorporated into Moodle, making it available to students and academic staff via the Moodle platform. This platform is used to instruct and develop students and employees.
