ACCREDITED OFF-CAMPUS STUDENT ACCOMMODATION

Accredited off-campus accommodation (AOCA) serves as an extension of the University residences, however, they are privately owned and the duty of the University here is to facilitate and influence where necessary.

Students are offered off-campus accredited accommodation when space is no longer available in the University owned residences. Since all first-year students are required to be accommodated in university owned residences, the accredited off-campus accommodation is then made available for senior students.

Sol Plaatje University assumes no liability, makes no representation for a student, the landlord or third party with regards to the lease to or occupancy of accredited off-campus accommodation by students at the university, unless the student was assigned to a particular residence through a letter of recommendation.

Students assume full responsibility for the selection, use or occupancy of such, based on gender specifications per residence.
