Announcement from the University Registrar

Dear SPU applicant

Thank you for applying to study at Sol Plaatje University.

The University will receive your final Grade 12 results from the Department of Basic Education in late February 2021. The results will be matched to your application and SPU will send you an email /SMS to confirm your application status.

The purpose of this announcement is to explain the different Admission statuses that will be reflected in our February / March 2021 communication to you. The application status can also be viewed on the online application link.

If you have not received your application status by 5 March 2021, kindly send an email to [email protected].

Please do not come to the University to verify your status OR submit your final results.

FIRM OFFER MEANS:

You have been accepted to study for the programme you applied for. You will only be accepted for one programme.

WAITLISTED MEANS:

A final decision will be made if space is available.

You will receive an email / SMS indicating the final outcome; please do not contact the University.

UNSUCCESSFUL MEANS:

We regret to inform you that your application has been unsuccessful as you do not meet the minimum admission requirements.
