Dear SPU Staff and Students

Our academic year was scheduled to begin on Monday, 23 March 2021, with classes taking place online and through some on-campus activities for various student cohorts.

Due to the actions of the SRC in obstructing access to staff on the North and Central campuses and the intimidation of students not to participate in classes, Sol Plaatje University is left with no other option but to delay the resumption of classes in the interim, until this situation has been resolved.

Information about when we can resume the academic year will be communicated later this week.

Kind regards

Professor Andrew M. Crouch

Vice-Chancellor and Principal
