Youth month commemoration

The Sol Plaatje University (SPU) Library, in collaboration with the Northern Cape Provincial Library Services, will host a panel discussion and book launch to commemorate youth month on Tuesday, 15 June 2021.

The panel discussion will highlight the challenges of mental wellness amongst South African youth entitled “Mental wellness challenges in South African Youth: Causes, effects, and remedies“.

The panelists will include SPU student Sylvester Molawa, SPU Counsellor Nthabiseng Afrika, Lifeline Social Worker Aglacier Ramoshaba, and the Operations Manager from the South African Depression and Anxiety Group (SADAG), Vanishaa Gordhan.
