Protect yourself and others – choose vaccination

The COVID-19 vaccination is one of the important ways to make the world safe for you, your family and others which whom you come into contact.

  • Play your part in the fight against COVID-19 by choosing vaccination for an added layer of protection. Vaccines are safe and save lives.
  • You cannot and will not get COVID-19 from the vaccine.
  • The COVID-19 vaccine does not and will not affect your fertility.
  • Getting a COVID-19 vaccine is the best protection against the virus, whether you have already had COVID-19 or not.
  • Vaccination is the fastest and simplest way to protect yourself and the SPU community.
  • All staff and students are encouraged to vaccinate. The university can only return to some semblance of normality when the majority of staff and students are vaccinated.
  • Masking, handwashing, ventilation and physical distancing remain necessary even if you are vaccinated.
