Dear SPU Community
It is with great sadness that I have to inform you of the passing of Mr Zingisile Wolsak, Senior Manager: Services in the Facilities and Services Department and that of his wife, Loyiso and youngest daughter, Oviya. They were involved in a motor vehicle accident on Monday, 18 January 2021.
His older daughter and his sister, who were injured in the accident, have been hospitalised.
Mr Wolsak joined Sol Plaatje University in November 2020 and prior to that he was employed by the Northern Cape Department of Education.
My sincere condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Mr Wolsak on this tragic loss.
