The Centre for Creative Writing and African Languages invites you to a series of online Capacity Building Workshops, facilitated by Dr Peet van Aardt, Head of the Writing Centre at the University of the Free State.
These workshops will explore how Creative Writing can be integrated into various modules and subjects as an innovative strategy for effective problem-solving.

About the Facilitator
Dr Peet van Aardt leads the Writing Centre at the University of the Free State. His research interests include student voice, generative artificial intelligence, and writing centre practices. He holds a PhD in Creative Writing and is the author of two books: Briewe van Uys Krige vanuit Frankryk en Spanje (2010) and Vier-en-Veertig, Agtien (2018). Dr van Aardt is a fellow of the National Institute for Humanities and Social Sciences and a former SUSI programme scholarship holder.
