The National Metrology Institute of South Africa (NMISA) will present on human capital development in the Library Auditorium (Central Campus) from 10:00 to 15:00 on Monday, 8 April 2019.

The Institute is responsible for maintaining the SI units, and for maintaining and developing primary scientific standards of physical quantities for South Africa, and comparing those standards with other national standards to ensure global measurement equivalence.

Attendees will also be able to engage with an exhibition, which will form part of the Institute’s first national roadshow.

The Northern Cape leg of the roadshow takes place from 9 and 11 April 2019 and includes visits to six local high schools.

SPU will join that roadshow to market the University’s programmes at those schools.
