What is an AOCA provider?
An Accredited Off-Campus Accommodation (AOCA) provider is an accredited landlord who has been granted accreditation by the University to provide off-campus accommodation to SPU students.
Why become an AOCA provider?
With the housing challenges in the higher education sector, the need for secure, comfortable, and study-conducive off-campus accommodation has never been greater. As an AOCA provider, you’re not just a landlord; you’re an essential part of the SPU student experience.
How does it pay off?
Payments will be made monthly to the AOCA provider, and you’ll be a part of a structured system that ensures reliability and transparency. Application fees range from R500 for smaller properties to R1 000 for bigger structures.
What’s the application process?
- Complete an application form.
- Pay the non-refundable application fee.
- Submit all required documentation, including floor plans and a valid title deed – as proof that your structure and operation aligns with our guidelines and requirements
- Applications are reviewed by an Accreditation Committee, and outcomes are communicated directly to the applicant.
