The Inaugural Meeting of the SPU Convocation will take place on Saturday, 28 November 2020 from 11:00 to 13:00 in C016 on the Sol Plaatje University Central Campus.

RSVP’s should be sent to kashini.maistry@spu.ac.za by Wednesday, 25 November 2020.  

The SPU Statute requires the Convocation to elect a President, Vice-President, Secretary, as well as two (2) additional members from its ranks to serve on the Executive Committee of Convocation.

Bona-fide members of Convocation are hereby requested to nominate fellow members, in good standing, to fill the above-mentioned positions. Each nomination must be supported by at least three (3) members of the Convocation and countersigned by the nominee to denote his/her acceptance of the nomination.

Nominations must be emailed to the University Registrar, Mr Rathnum Naidoo (registrar@spu.ac.za) on or before 25 November 2020. Download the nomination form here.
