Academics in the School of Humanities continue to grow their academic prowess with some notable recent achievements:

Palesa Seleke received her MA in Setswana from North-West University in September 2017.

Her MA research was on the Context of Gomolemo Mokae’s Setswana writings, who was a medical doctor by profession and a Black Consciousness political activist.

The research focuses on Gomolemo’s Setswana writings, which can be regarded as a remarkable and revolutionary contribution to Setswana Modern literature.

Dr Marga Stander received an award for the best paper presenter at the Conference on Psychology and Language Research in November 2017 at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
