The Department of Languages and Communication in the Faculty of Humanities is pleased to issue a second call for papers for the upcoming International Language Conference, taking place from 27 – 29 August 2025.
Themed “Intellectualisation of African Languages in the Digital Age”, the conference will provide a platform for scholars, researchers, and students to explore strategies for integrating African languages into digital tools, academic research, and technological innovations.
The Department invites the submission of abstracts (150–250 words) that engage with topics such as language digitalisation, activism, teaching, policy, translation, and more.
