We are excited to invite all SPU’s Faculty of Education graduates to the 2nd Annual Alumni Homecoming on Saturday, 11 October 2025 at the SPU Great Hall, North Campus from 10:00 – 18:00.
The SPU Alumni Homecoming promises to be a special day of reconnection, celebration and giving back. It is an opportunity to strengthen ties, share stories and celebrate the history and achievements of your alma mater.
What to expect:
Special Guest Speaker: An opportunity to engage in inspiring conversations with Ms Lynn Forbes, a renowned inspirational speaker, philanthropist and mother of the late South African artist AKA (Kiernan Forbes).
Formation and Election of the Faculty of Education Alumni Chapter: elect the first representatives of your Faculty’s Alumni Chapter.
Campus Tour: discover the growth of our campuses and explore what is new.
Merchandise Sales: purchase exclusive Alumni merchandise and show your SPU pride.
Live Entertainment: enjoy music by fellow alumni.
Indigenous Games: take part in fun traditional games.
Cash Bar: relax, socialise and enjoy a variety of beverages.
Alumni Giving:
This year, we invite you to make a meaningful impact. We are collecting donations of stationery (pens, pencils, books, erasers, sharpeners, etc.) for Endeavour Primary School in Florianville. Your contribution, big or small, will help shape the next generation of leaders.
We look forward to welcoming you back on campus to reconnect with your alma mater and fellow alumni, share creative ideas and create new memories together.
