Sol Plaatje University (SPU) is thrilled to be hosting its Open Day on Saturday, 26 August 2023 at the SPU Central Campus in Kimberley. This will be the first in-person Open Day since the COVID-19 pandemic, and we are excited to be welcoming high school learners on our campus!
The University will showcase its unique range of programme offerings and prospective students will get a glimpse into the SPU student life. Join us for an all-you-need-to-know experience, specifically structured to offer an overview of the University as well as a step-by-step guide on how to apply for our academic programmes, including student funding.
This year, we are expecting learners from high schools in the province and surrounding areas to come and experience our vibrant campus life and make an informed decision about their academic future.
Our Vice-Chancellor and Principal, Prof Andrew Crouch, will address learners, teachers, and parents on the day before they navigate to various information stalls. The stalls will showcase all that the SPU has to offer – from academic programmes, student life experiences, sport and many more.
