
The Department of Languages and Communication in the Faculty of Humanities will be hosting the International Language Conference from 27 – 29 August 2025.
The conference, themed “Intellectualisation of African Languages in the Digital Age”, will provide a platform for scholars, researchers, and students to explore strategies for integrating African languages into digital tools, academic research, and technological innovations.
The Department invites submission of abstracts (150 – 250 words) that engage with topics such as language digitalisation, activism, teaching, policy, translation, and more.
