Since its inception in 1980, the Eskom Expo has offered learners from Grades 6 to 12 the opportunity to present their own scientific research projects at school, district, regional and national levels, and even beyond to international stages. With 35 regional fairs across all nine provinces, this exposition empowers over 17 500 young scientists annually to develop critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration skills.
SPU’s Faculty of Education, in collaboration with the Department of Mathematics, Science and Technology Teaching and the Eskom Expo for Young Scientists (EEfYS), will proudly host the Kimberley Regional Science Fair at the South Campus Multi-Purpose Hall on Saturday, 16 August 2025, from 07:00 to 17:00.
