Entries are now open for SPU’s birthday colour run!

Lace up your trainers – Sol Plaatje University is excited to announce that entries are now open for our annual Birthday Colour Run, set to take place on 31 August 2024, at the Suzuki Stadium (20 Jacobus Smit Ave, New Park, Kimberley).

The SPU Birthday Colour Run is more than just a race, it is a fun and vibrant event that celebrates unity by bringing the community together to create lasting memories, no matter their age or ability. If you’re not running, you’re welcome to come and cheer on our participants from the sidelines, and enjoy other fun activities planned for the day.

Entry Fees:

5km – R50 (with licence number) and R100 (without licence)

10km – R100 (with licence) and R150 (without licence)

21.1km – R150 (with licence) and R200 (without licence)

  • Manual entries will be accepted between 14 – 16 August and 28 – 29 August, from 12:00 – 14:00 at the SPU South Campus, 26 Reservoir Road, New Park.
