This year’s theme explores the significance of intellectual property in the music industry, focusing on copyright protection and its impact on music and the arts.

The programme will feature Ms Amina Suliman, a trademark and copyright attorney and partner at Adams & Adams, who will provide expert insights on intellectual property and copyright. Performances by the SPU Choir and artist Mr Mogale Sedibe will further illustrate the connection between music and IP, while SPU students will showcase their own talent and reflections on IP in music.
All students, staff and members of the broader Kimberley community are welcome to attend and celebrate innovation, creativity and the power of intellectual property.
